VERTEX

VERTEX is a contemporary art and design festival that brings together creatives from all disciplines, pushes the boundaries of art and design, and celebrates Perth’s diverse culture and its emerging and established creatives.

The visual identity is based on the geometric shapes formed in the negative space of the brand mark, and these shapes are used across all brand touchpoints to create a cohesive visual identity system. Specifically, the arrow created within the word mark between the ‘E’ and ‘X’ is extracted and used as the festival’s key wayfinding graphic. The word mark is bold and structured to allow these shapes to be extracted.
